Synopsis
Wilderness Cries is a collection of poems written by pastor Mike Vetsch about the wilderness times in the life of a pastor and his congregation. Each poem has an explanation for why it was written and the book is a poignant, touching and tender look at the ups and downs that we all share, written by a man with a passion for those whom he serves.
Mike Vetsch grew up in the inner city of Minneapolis. He first realized the power of the word when he made a girl cry after writing a poem in 7th grade. Through the ups and downs of college, seminary, being a rural pastor, and life itself, one of the ways he expresses himself, and survives, is through poetry.
