Synopsis

A Historical Fiction Novel Set In The 1920s. During Post World War I America, The Country Struggled To Find Its Direction. Seeking Common Unity, The People Resurrected One Of Its Demons From The Past And Sought Comfort And Security Under Its False Banner Of Religion And Patriotism. Based Upon Actual Events, The Story Begins With The Murder Of A Catholic Priest In The Black Hills Of South Dakota, And Ends Across The State On A Hilltop Overlooking A Small Town, At A Mutilating Cross Carved Deep Upon The Earth By The Klan, That Teared The Eye Of God. Forgotten Horrors, Forbidden Love, And An Intense, Burning Desire To Escape The Coteau.
