Synopsis

Nathan is a graduate student with two secrets. First, he is a caster. Alone in the world of magic, Nathan struggles to understand his abilities even as he encounters a hunter who wants him dead. At the same time, Nathan is tempted by one of his students, a beautiful girl with a brilliant mind.

Lyrica is new in college and eager to succeed in her first set of classes. At first, it seems like the hardest part of her college career will be an unfortunate crush on one of her teachers. Then her life gets more complicated when another student comes at her with a black dagger.

Mendax Aran is one of the Stalkers Arcane, an order of wizard hunters. Their only goal is to hide magic from the rest of humanity. When new casters appear, Mendax and the hunters like him move in for the kill. Now he has been sent to find a blade fabled to contain the soul of a deadly and unstoppable dragon, the beast once known as Koroshokorash.
