When Boredom Sinks Its Teeth In, And You Are Stuck In A Routine Which Kills Off Your Dreams, Sometimes The Ideas That Come To Light Are So Absurd That You End Up Travelling An Unbeaten Track On Foot For 600 Lonely Kilometres. I Didnt Know Where I Was Going. Or What I Was Doing. I Wanted To Write. I Wanted To Taste The Life That I So Often Visited In Werner Herzogs Work. So, When I Read His Advice That Every Young Man Should Take A Significant Walk At Least Once In Their Life I Went And Wandered. The Following Pages Are The Journal Entries That Accompanied Me From Turin In Italy, Through The Swiss And Austrian Alps To Munich, Germany.
