Synopsis

As I Jumped Over A Bullet Speeding My Way, I Risked A Look Behind Us. A Thousand Or So Feet Behind Us, Flashlights Were Cutting Through The Darkness Toward Us, Eight Behind Us And Maybe Four Or Five To Each Side, Not Including The Lights On The Dogs' Collars. Michael's Eyes Met Mine, And I Saw His Heart In Them. I Wanted To Stop And Cry And Hold Him Right Then And There. Michael, The Love Of My Life, Might Die. And I Would Never Be Able To Hold Him Ever Again, Kiss His Lips, Or Find Shelter In His Grasp.
