I wanted to do a cookbook and I guess this is it. Inside you will find some of my favorite recipes that are guaranteed to accomplish whatever hopes and dreams you have for the meal you are preparing. I started cooking when I was very young. This is not your typical cookbook, because I think that the teachers are as important as their cooking and deserve more credit than the recipes they provided. I hope you enjoy this book and that it helps you to become the cook your family wants you to be.
I normally don't use a recipe. I simply throw things together haphazardly until they taste good. It's worked well for me for thirty years and I've never had any complaints and never poisoned anyone. It worked equally well for my Mother and Grandmother. I'm of the opinion that you can cook or you can't. Good cooks can be made and if they work hard and pay attention, they can create meals that others enjoy, but great cooks are simply born and I'd like to believe that I'm one of the latter.
