Synopsis

Spoilt, Imperious And Proud, Princess Agnes Of France Is Delighted To Be Marrying The Heir To The Emperor Of Constantinople. She Expects That She Will Be Living In The Greatest Luxury That Only The Greatest City In The World Can Offer. And When The Girl-bride Meets Alexios, Her Boy-groom, She Is Delighted. Overawed By Her Beauty, He Is Easy To Manage. But Following The Death Of His Father, Alexios Is Too Young For The Responsibility Thrust On Him. Dangerous Forces Are Gathering And Andronikos, The People's Favourite, Overthrows Him.
