Synopsis

Lefty, the tortoise and Wally, the Chuckawalla lizard, still live at Eagle Wings. Pepper and Nizhoni are still kicking up their hooves and tossing their heads. Sunny and Jax are teaching Merlin their terrier-style English accent. No one knows why. Pixel and Dot are not the cats' real names. They have privacy issues. The rest of the animals at Eagle Wings are already planning their next project. Madison and Aubrey can't wait to see what they do!
Ann Elizabeth Smith grew up in El Paso, Texas, where she fell in love with the Great Southwest. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1977 from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. After teaching one year in Baytown, Texas, she moved to Yuma, Arizona. There she met Ken Smith and two months later, they were married in 1979. She taught Earth Science and English for 24 years in Yuma.
In July, 2009, Ann and her husband moved to the Albuquerque, New Mexico metropolitan area. They live quite happily near the Sandia Mountains with great neighbors, stunning views, beautiful wildlife, bright starry nights, and a refreshing climate.
