Synopsis

Family Secrets is the true story of Jaye Peay, a young educated African-Caribbean woman, growing up in a time of independence for her island nation. She struggles against the parochial and male-dominated society of her island home only to find herself entrapped in an abusive relationship with her husband. When allegations of incest arise against her trusted husband, Peay's world is shattered and she must make a drastic and heartrending decision to change her life.
